Omschrijving
The Spirit 55 is our choice for flat water touring & fitness kayaking that is stable enough to let us recommend it even for beginners. Made in one size this model is buoyant enough to fit paddlers of a wide range of weight. It has a smooth curved hull with a bottom that is flat enough to provide good stability without making the kayak too bulky.
On the other hand it is also a stanardized Paracanoe - it meets the IPC & the ICF Paracanoe standards in K1 boat class. For this the Spirit 55 is also available in "Para version", where the kayak is delivered with an additional paracanoe seat and a rudder locker as well - this locker lets you to fix steering cord so you can keep the line without the T-bar.

STANDARD A1 construction
- Materials: fiberglass / polyester resin
- Technology: hand lay-up
- Hardness: 5/10
- Weight: 10/10
- Description: Composite boats made by the traditional way: using only fiberglass and hand-lay up. The method is simple but effective, the result is a longlivety product that is easy to maintain and repair.
- Advised: Entry-level boats ideal for hobby & recreational use. This construction offers an economical solution for all those who consider paddling as a free time activity and looking for a reliable boat at a good price.
STANDARD+
- Materials: fiberglass + carbon-kevlar reinforcement on the middle part / polyester resin
- Technology: hand lay-up
- Hardness: 6/10
- Weight: 10/10
- Description: These boats are still made using fiberglass and hand-lay up, but an additional layer of carbon-kevlar is used on the middle - most intensively used - part of the boat. This provides some more stiffness and more pleasing interior look. Still this is easy to maintain and repair and still quite economical.
- Advised: It could be also a nice entry-level boat for hobby & recreational use, but many, more experienced paddlers also prefer this construction if they know, that the boat will be for heavier duty.
SUPER
- Materials: core material (Soric LRC - 2 mm) / carbon-kevlar reinforcement / vinyl ester resin
- Technology: vacuum bagging
- Hardness: 8/10
- Weight: 7/10
- Description: Our SUPER construction is a big leap in quality, lightness and aesthetics as well. The core material together with the high quality carbon-kevlar reinforcement and advanced manufacturing technology let us to reduce weight and improve stiffness at the same time.
- Advised: If you are looking for a harder, lighter and better looking boat and don't mind the little more care, then the SUPER construction is worth to consider for you.
EXTRA (hard)
- Materials: core material (Soric LRC - 2 mm) / UD carbon reinforcement / vinyl ester resin
- Technology: vacuum bagging
- Hardness: 9/10
- Weight:7/10
- Description: Our FITNESS/TOURING boats and SEA KAYAKS have two sub-constructions of "EXTRA". These are: "hard" and "light". Both are reinforced by carbon, but obviously one is fine-tuned to achieve more stiffness and the other is to reduce weight
- Advised: Considering the weight and hardness ratio, this sub-construction could be an excellent choice for paddlers with high expectations for the stiffness of their boat.
- EXTRA+: With minor modifications in layer design and using clear gelcoat, the carbon texture could appear on the outside surface of the hull and/or the deck of the boat. This results a cool & stylish look on the water.
