The Packraft in Adventure Raid The RAID 350 is an ultra-light boat but with exceptional resistance, thanks to a new 150D double induction TPU canvas and its new shape with optimized dimensions.

Adventure racing is an endurance sporting event held in the great outdoors, combining several disciplines and lasting several hours or even several days. It demands the physical, mental, and strategic abilities of the participating teams.

The program includes running, packrafting, mountain biking, kayaking, orienteering, sometimes climbing or technical challenges, all in complete self-sufficiency. Participants navigate using only a map and compass, without external assistance, making orientation and effort management key elements of performance.

FAST QUIT DECK

Fully removable deck with quick-opening funnel. This innovative system replaces the traditional coaming, stiffener, and spray skirt. Lighter and faster to install and remove, the Fast Quit system also offers increased safety, opening very quickly in case of capsizing or entrapment. This new concept allows for a boat usable in very intense sailing conditions with high water levels, while keeping you dry.

INTEGRAL MATTRESS

Essential for optimized glide. The inflated mattress is 45 mm lower than the side tubes, creating a hull under the boat.

CENTRAL KEEL

The Raid 350 can be equipped with a central keel to further optimize the boat's steering.

SHAPE AND DESIGN

The choice of material was obvious, but the work then focused on the shape and welding techniques. The RAID 350 adopts a simple yet effective solution: a high-pressure inflatable tube with pronounced rockers at the bow and stern, guaranteeing excellent maneuverability.

Its 3.5m length offers comfortable space for two sailors while significantly improving glide and speed.

Historically, 3.2m boats represented the best compromise between weight and glide. Thanks to the new TPU fabric, it is now possible to reduce weight, increase usable volume, and improve speed (the longer the boat, the faster it goes); we call this "glide ratio."

The RAID 350 is the culmination of all this expertise.

The experience of the JAWS teams, the Raid in France teams, and the French Triathlon Federation has come together to create a boat specifically designed for performance in Adventure Racing.
