The BARBUSA is the newest kayak model for children, it originates from the popular Toril. The Barbusa is scaled down for a child’s body and it allows the child to have the same kayaking experience as an adult; even the youngest kayakers are able to imitate the moves of their older idols. The dimensions of the Barbusa meet the rules of the ICF.Compared to the Toril the Barbusa turns faster with the tail under water and it is more responsive. The volume of the Barbusa is smaller at the front of the boat and the kayak is narrower when you compare it with an adult model. This means a young paddler can pull the blade along the kayak and the stroke is much better, therefore developing a good paddling technique. The cockpit is slightly smaller than the usual cockpit size. This allows children to easily put their spray deck on and off without help.We recommend the BARBUSA for children aged 9 -13 of weight up to 45 kgs.
